Starlight Auto Body Repairs (Pty) Ltd is a proudly family-owned and operated auto body repair company, established on 16 February 2026. Although officially registered in 2026, the vision for Starlight began nearly a decade earlier — for many years, the dream remained just a dream, as we chose the security of stable employment over the uncertainty of entrepreneurship.

That changed when we realised that every meaningful journey begins with a single step of faith. Inspired by the biblical account of the Wise Men following the guiding star, we embraced the belief that God faithfully directs those who trust Him. That conviction gave us the courage to pursue a vision that had lived in our hearts for nine years, and Starlight Auto Body Repairs was born.

Founded by husband-and-wife team James and Ilana Abrahams, Starlight combines faith, experience and a genuine passion for restoring vehicles to the highest possible standard. With over 20 years of industry experience, James has built an exceptional reputation in the motor body repair industry — beginning his career as an estimator in 2006 and progressing through leadership roles to become General Manager of an auto body repair facility. His expertise spans estimating, Audatex, Abuntex, VDQ quality standards, parts procurement, purchasing, quality control, final costings and customer service, backed by longstanding relationships throughout the motor industry.

As a family, we believe every vehicle deserves to look its best. A vehicle does not need to be new to inspire pride — it simply needs to be cared for with skill, precision and attention to detail. This philosophy is reflected in our own vehicles and forms the foundation of every repair entrusted to us.

Starlight Auto Body Repairs proudly provides professional collision repairs, spray painting, detailing and restoration services. Every vehicle is treated with the same care and respect we would give our own, because our goal is not simply to repair vehicles, but to build a trusted brand recognised for precision workmanship, uncompromising quality, honesty, integrity and exceptional customer satisfaction.
